One of the many challenges faced by new mothers is that the task of post natal weight loss. Pregnant women will put on some weight depending on their genetic and their eating habits. Social concerns about the image will force them to lose weight after the birth. limited level of physical activity during pregnancy itself means that there is little possibility of controlling weight through exercise. Too vigorous exercise during pregnancy can have unpleasant consequences for both mother and child. So many women run the maternity wing at the local gym. Needless to say, the results are mixed.

For some unfathomable reason, the body takes the possibility of pregnancy to revolt against the instructions of their respective owners. Stretch marks in particular will refuse to respond to increasing exercise. What some dieticians have suggested a gradual lifestyle change to ensure that the body has a chance to lose those extra pounds. There are cultures that believe that the mother must have a very high calorie diet in order to provide milk for the baby. This is a disputed claim, but an understanding of such a request can lead to eating more among pregnant women in certain cultural groups. At the same time when the baby is born, the same culture will require that a woman goes to zero size.

Having a good diet definitely helps in creating a healthy environment is good for post natal life, but also control your weight. According to a balanced diet does not mean the fad diets that you starve yourself into oblivion. I'm talking about diets that are all essential nutrients in the right quantities for a lady your size and age. Fruit is especially recommended for vitamins and relatively low calorific value. I personally would not recommend a tougher diet for new moms because they can cause such an arduous conditions on the body that might interfere with nursing the baby.

As for the training you need only do as much as you feel comfortable with. If that means walking on a treadmill for a few minutes then let it be. You can gradually increase the load of exercise as your baby grows and you have more freedom with your body.
